Before adding your mailer bag to your basket, please choose how you would like to be paid for your Get Rid items.
Cash via PayPal
Your final Get Rid value payment is made via a transfer via PayPal to your nominated PayPal account. When choosing your payment method you are required to confirm your nominated PayPal account email address.
You will receive the full value of your approved Get Rid order into your nominated PayPal account within 48 hours of your final Get Rid value email.
Sunshine Thrift Voucher
Your final Get Rid value will be increased by 15% should you choose this as your payment method. Within 24 hours of you receiving your final Get Rid value, we will send you your unique voucher code via email to the email address provided on your Order. This voucher is redeemable for 1 year and can be used on any Item.
Charitable donation
Should you choose donation to charity as your chosen payment method when ordering your Get Rid mailer bag, you are required to provide the name of the charity and the charity number if you have it available. Having this additional information helps us get the money to your charity much faster. Donations are made anonymously via the PayPal Giving Fund. There are no charges incurred by your charity for accepting this donation.
We will process your donation within 24 hours of your final Get Rid value email. We will send you an email confirming that the donation has been made, with proof of the donation. Please be aware it can take anywhere between 15-90 days for your charity to receive your donation.

You are limited to one mailer bag. When laid flat our mailer bag measure 44cm x 56cm so you can fit lots of Get Rid goodies inside.

Get Rid Shipping Policy
Get Rid is available to anyone living in mainland UK and NI. Unfortunately we are able to extend our Get Rid service to residents living on the channel islands and anyone living outside of the UK.
Get Rid mailer bags are despatched the next working day via Royal Mail on a 2nd class untracked service. The parcel is large letter size and will fit through any standard post box. You do not need to sign for this delivery.

Get Rid return and refund policy
Purchases of Get Rid mailer bags, via any available payment method, are only refundable once you complete your Get Rid return. Purchases of Get Rid mailer bags are refunded via your chosen Get Rid payment method and cannot be refunded back to your original payment method. We will only refund the value of your Get Rid mailer if your completed Get Rid order includes approved items. We will not refund you for your mailer bag if you return only rejected items or items which do not adhere to our Get Rid guidelines.

How do I order my mailer bag?
In your approval email we have included a link to order your mailer bag. You are limited to one mailer bag per order. Mailer bags cost £1.50 which will be refunded via your chosen payment method once we receive your Get Rid items.
When ordering your mailer bag you need to choose how you want to receive payment for your Get Rid order. Learn more about payment methods here.
We will despatch your mailer bag via Royal Mail 2nd class service the next working day.
What do I put in my mailer bag?
You should only put your approved items in your mailer bag.
If you send us any rejected items, a £5.00 admin fee for our handling of these items will be deducted from your final Get Rid value.
HOW QUICKLY WILL I RECEIVE PAYMENT FOR MY GET RID ORDER?
This depends on which payment method you choose.
Once your filled Get Rid mailer bag arrives with us, we have 72 hours to inspect the items you have sent. We take this time to make sure that the items you have sent lines up with your approved Get Rid order. We will then send you an email summarising the payment you can expect to receive. The value of your Get Rid order is wholly dependant on what you send us.
Payments into your chosen PayPal should arrive with you within 24 hours of you receiving your Get Rid final value confirmation.
Sunshine Thrift vouchers are sent via email within 24 hours of your confirmation email and have a 1-year expiry date.
We will process your donation within 24 hours of your final Get Rid value email. We will send you an email confirming that the donation has been made, with proof. Please be aware it can take anywhere between 15-90 days for your
charity to receive your donation. If your chosen charity is registered with the PayPal giving fund at the time of the donation, they will receive payment quicker.

What if I don't have a PayPal account?
If you do not have a PayPal account or are unable to create one, we unfortunately cannot offer a monetary payment via any other method. We choose to pay you for your Get Rid order via PayPal to protect both you and us.
